About Me
I am a Krakow, Poland-based artist but I grew up in the City of Joy - Kolkata (also known as Calcutta) which is widely regarded as the cultural capital of India. I started drawing at the age of 4. Back then it was nothing more than a fun activity for me! As a child I was very talkative and my Maa used to look for creative ways to keep me busy and quiet. When all her efforts failed, one fine day she discovered that drawing is the only activity that could keep me quiet for long. While she found peace, I found my best friend in Art. As years passed, this fun turned into an integral part of my life and became a witness to all my ups and downs. My constant support, and my inspiration - my Maa - helped me discover my love for painting.

My daughter's marriage was fixed sometime back and I got a chance to fulfill my secret desire to produce a calendar for 2022 on Lord Jagannath. My daughter's wedding invitation card was also planned to be merged with the calendar so it can become almost a collector's item, in my humble opinion. So, Suchandra took the responsibility to create the photos and painstakingly painted all the beautiful and exquisite paintings of the Lord and the result is both stunning and unique. My heartiest thanks to Suchandra for taking up and delivering the project dot on time and kudos to her excellence in diverse fields of creative art and support in the production of this calendar and invitation letter.

When I first saw the FALLen Leaf painting on the Aartist Suchandra page I really liked it. And I knew I wanted this one for my store. I contacted Suchandra and we discussed the size of the art print. It was carefully packed and shipped in a tube. She also sent me a hand-written note which I really loved. I have placed the painting near the glass window at the main entrance of my store.
